This Health and Safety policy sets out the commitment of Gardener Knightsbridge to provide safe, reliable gardening and grounds maintenance services. Our objective is to protect employees, contractors, clients and members of the public while delivering high-quality gardening services in Knightsbridge and surrounding areas. Safety is integral to every job, from routine lawn care to bespoke landscaping projects.

Policy statement

Gardener Knightsbridge operates a precautionary approach to risk, emphasising prevention, ongoing training and clear responsibilities. We ensure that every Knightsbridge gardener follows procedures designed to reduce hazards, prevent incidents and promote wellbeing. We will: plan work safely, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure all operatives are competent for their tasks.

Scope: This policy applies to all staff, subcontractors and any worker engaged by the gardening company in Knightsbridge, whether full-time, part-time or temporary. It covers routine gardening services, tree and hedge work, planting schemes, use of powered tools and safe client site access. The policy also considers environmental risks associated with grounds maintenance.

All employees and the management of Gardener Knightsbridge share responsibility for health and safety.
